RAE • “FERENGHI FRESH”  • 2014 • ETHIOPIA, AFRICA

[Ethiopia, Africa, April, 2014] - RAE traveled to Ethiopia, Africa to attend the opening ceremony for a community library built by a non-profit organization. He helped to raise funds to furnish the library through the sale of his paintings. RAE also conducted a workshop with children on the process of making art out of found objects.

Later in the trip, RAE held an exhibition in the living room of a local family who welcomed him with a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Other members of the community were invited and an even some local goats managed to gain access. RAE also painted a few outdoor works along the way.
